Meet Your English Coach

Welcome to Swisspro English — I’m Renuka Jagessar-Ali, a native English speaker and Professional English Coach based in Switzerland, with over 8 years of teaching experience, a strong background in academic support, and valuable experience in the HR and corporate world. I support students, adult learners, and professionals in building confidence, fluency, and clarity in English through a structured, thoughtfully paced, and supportive approach that honours each individual’s learning journey while steadily refining their skills, deepening understanding, and nurturing lasting growth in communication.

I hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Language and Literature in Education, and throughout my career I have supported both young learners and adults in strengthening their speaking, writing, reading, and overall communication skills. Alongside my teaching experience, my background in HR and executive-level professional environments allows me to support clients with academic English, workplace communication, CV writing, interview preparation, presentation skills, and professional confidence. I have also worked closely with students in tertiary education preparing for internships, school transitions, and early career opportunities, helping them communicate clearly and present themselves with confidence.

 Having moved to Switzerland two years ago and currently learning German myself, I understand firsthand the courage and persistence it takes to communicate in a new language. This personal journey shapes my teaching with empathy, patience, and genuine understanding.  

At Swisspro English, I focus on more than grammar and vocabulary. My goal is to help each learner find their voice through natural conversations in English, express themselves with ease, communicate with purpose, and grow into confident, capable speakers in every area of life...and of course, why should everything be a struggle in life?
